Here she is!

Kamrie Dawn Clayton arrived at 5:52pm on January 6,2010. She weighed in at 8 pounds 6 ounces and was 21 inches long. She was only 3 ounces more then Kaylie was when she was born.

I was induced that morning at 9am. In the middle of my time in labor she started getting stressed and they weren't sure if there was a problem with where the cord was or if she had it wrapped around her. They had to put what is called a scalp lead into her head before she was delievered so that they could get an accurate heart rate. They then had to position me in such a way to reposition the baby during the contractions. Everytime I was contracting her heart rate would drop really low. We later found out that she had the cord wrapped around her neck and her leg. So everytime I contracted it was squeezing her neck. The delivery was a little rough. She was coming out with her head turned sideways instead of face down. They had to use the vaccum to help with getting her out then she got hung up on my pelvis with her shoulders. Once they were able to get her far enough out they got the cord off her neck so that she could breathe then they were able to get her out ok. She was one purple little baby when she finally came out.

She is such a sweet little baby! She loves to just snuggle and she is starting to open her eyes more and discover her world. We love her so much and are greatful that everything worked out ok and that she was healthy. She sleeps really well and is doing fabulous we just have to convince her that 1am is not the time to be awake and filling her britches lol.

Kaylie loves her baby sister and wants to hold her and snuggle with her all the time. I was surprised at how well she has been with her. I was expecting to have to deal with a very jelious 3 year old but she has been such a good little helper.
